When must someone leave my Funeral Plan?

There is no Cessation age on the Episodic Funeral Plan. Once a member is added to a policy, they are covered until they are removed owing to death or an amendment.

A slight exception to this rule is when your children that are insured as Immediate Family members turn 21 years old (or 26 if they are full-time students). They will no longer qualify as being Immediate Family members on your base Family plan and will need to either:

• take out a new policy in their own name
• be added as Extended Family members to your plan
